In the first quarter of 2025, the top consumer finance applications in Algeria showed varied performance across downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

BaridiMob, published by Algérie Poste, saw strong weekly downloads, starting at around 52.9K and peaking at 61.6K in early January, before stabilizing around 49K towards the end of March. The app maintained a robust user base, with active users fluctuating from approximately 5.3M to 5.5M.

The ECCP - Algérie Poste app also from Algérie Poste, experienced a peak in weekly downloads of 54.5K in mid-January, before a gradual decline to 34K by the end of March. Active users mirrored this trend, starting at 773K and showing a significant increase to 821K, before dropping to 640K.

Kotak Bank: 811 Mobile App by Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. saw a notable rise in downloads from just 8 at the start of January to over 21.7K in mid-March, closing the quarter at 10.3K. Active users showed consistent growth from 577 to 39.1K.

For Daily spending, published by chopnownow, weekly downloads peaked at 59.1K in mid-February before falling to 1.9K by mid-March. Active users also peaked at 31.9K in February, declining to 14.2K by the end of the quarter.

Lastly, APPLI SGA by Société Générale Algérie showed stable download figures, averaging around 1.8K weekly. The app's active users saw a steady increase from 48.8K to 65.4K throughout the quarter.
